Yes, we use pure organic essential oils.

With the exception of our Ultra Moisturizing Stick and THE BALM, all of our products are vegan.

All of our products are formulated without gluten.

Most of our formulas feature certified organic ingredients. We perform extensive research on all of our ingredients to ensure that they meet our strict safety, sustainability, and efficacy standards.

Close all lids tightly and secure after opening. Please keep products in a cool place always using clean hands. This will help maintain its integrity and extend the shelf life and prevent oxidation.

While our body scrubs are meant to be used in the shower/bath and have a great and safe preservative system, do your best to keep water out of the scrub to maintain the correct consistency and shelf life.

All of our body butters have a shelf life of about 6 months or less after opening. It all depends on how the integrity of the formula has been compromised. Use clean hands when using product and keep items out of body butters.

On the side of every product, we list a shelf life month. It should look like a little open jar with a number and the letter M (months). This will help you determine how long each product is good for after opening.

There is no FDA regulation for the term “Comedogenic" is not FDA regulated. There is not standard test that can determine if an ingredient will or will not clog your pores or cause breakouts. It is case by case. Person by person.

This more than likely happened because the body butter was exposed to too much air or heat or both. This is called oxidation. To prevent this from happening:

-keep an air tight lid on your body butter jar when not in use.

-Keep it in a cool place.

If it smells rancid, it probably is rancid and you should throw it away immediately.

Wash all jars with soap and water until clean. Dry and place in recycling bin. Also, please take a look and follow your city guidelines.
